In need of a Halloween costume idea? Our friends at The Pirates League can help — they’re offering an easy way to become a pirate. The process starts with makeup to create a black eye. Highlights around black makeup near the eye make it appear as though it’s puffy and an ordinary red eyeliner pencil make the eye look “sore.” Next, creating a scar to go with the black eye is done with a sponge and a pencil. To draw the scar, start at the corner of the eye and move down in a wave. And to make the scar look more realistic, add white to the top of the scar line and add black to the bottom. Then, a few lines across the scar make it appear as if there are stitches. And finally, a few dabs of black makeup around the chin and cheeks create a pirate’s beard. Check out the video to see it all come together. By the way, The Pirates League is accepting reservations when you call (407) 939-2739. Theme park admission is required. Also, we have more information at disneyworld.com.

Hello again and welcome to part 46 of my Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves walkthrough! In this part, we start the mission “The Talk of Pirates”. This mission will take all of this part and a little bit of next part to accomplish. We have to get our final disguise, the Cantankerous Tim costume. We need an eyepatch, a peg leg and a pirate hat to complete the transformation. The eyepatch from Stone Jake is pretty easy to get, but getting the peg leg from the No Named General is much easier than I made it look. I had to circle the area again to kill the other guard, so just skip to 7:09 to lessen my humility. I don’t know if this is practical or not, but Silent Obliteration may come in handy here. Why he still doesn’t have that move from the last game is beyond me, but whatever. Plus, I think if you have good timing, you can kill both guards with one boat drop. Don’t quote me on that though. Twitchy Ned has the hat and will try to drop boat and anchor traps down on you, so just avoid the shadows while running. Keeping up with him is pretty easy. He likes to run REALLY slowly when you’re behind to let you catch up. Nice guy Please comment, rate and subscribe. I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
I am truly enjoying the time to myself when my son goes to daycare one day a week…I get to make a layout and try and catch up (which will never happen) before this new baby comes! I am redoing all his old scrapbooks, so this one is a bathtime theme. I also took the time to do a shabby chic 1 page layout, and had a chance to be really “scrappy”! Feels good making things I get to keep. Thanks for watching, please subscribe, and I hope you find some ideas for your own scrapbooks!

This is me, in my cheap Master Chief costume on Halloween at school. The fire alarm went off, so we all went outside and my friend decided to film me having fights with a pirate and an Arab guy. We intended on editing the movie before posting it, but I thought I should post it anyways. Expect an edited version later. Nick (me) is in the Master Chief suit, Eric is the pirate and Cedric is the Arab guy. Filmed by Mike. T-bag button FTW!
